Wash Day...

Below is a video of me washing my hair. This method cuts down on water usage and tangles. In this video I used a shea butter mixture...how I made that is below.





Shea Butter Mix:


1. In a bottle similar to mine in the video or a larger one, take some raw shea butter and fill the bottle up.
2. Pour extra virgin olive oil 3/4 of the way to the top
3. Shake until the shea butter breaks up in the olive oil.
4. The mixture will gel up while sitting in your cabinet, so before every use you will need to "defrost" it by putting it in the bottom of the shower while you shower.


I use this as my lotion as well. 


Other moisturizers used in the video
* Aloe Vera Gel
* Taliah Waajid Curly Curl Cream (optional)

I Crack Myself Up!

Today, I tried the crackle nail polish for the first time. 

How did I do it?

1. Apply a clear coat

2. Apply two coats of white polish

3. Apply the red crackle polish

4. Apply a clear coat.

Voila....crackled nails!!!

Blogging Newbie!

I am new to blogging, but I think this will be a great journey for me and good way to spend some of my downtime. Well, the main reason I decided to blog was the numerous questions about my natural 4b hair. So, I decided its....BLOG TIME...because I'd rather refer people to a site than repeat myself 100 times #ijs <---- that was twitter speak for "I'm just saying"... so get hip to it my older readers.  Anywho, my goal is to create some how-to's and galleries for people that are natural or are thinking about going natural.
